Pacific Northwest amateurs fall in Senior Hudson Cup

The professionals controlled play from the get go and won by a final score of 14.5-5.5

TUMWATER, WA (October 21, 2016) -- On day two the professionals finished off what they started on Thursday and they won the Senior Hudson Cup at Fircrest Golf Club 14.5-5.5. The professionals won all three sessions, including Friday's singles session 6.5-3.5. The two full amateur points were recorded by Tom Brandes and Luke Wilson. DAY ONE RECAP The professionals controlled play from the get go and after day one they hold a commanding 8-2 lead at the Senior Hudson Cup. On Friday the amateurs will have to put together an impressive rally at Fircrest Golf Club if they want to prevent the pros from winning their second consecutive title. In the morning Foursomes the professionals took a 3.5-1.5 lead before really taking control with 4.5-.5 near sweep in the afternoon Four-Ball's. The only amateur half point earned Thursday afternoon came from Pat O'Donnell and Denny Taylor
