Ott wins the Delaware Amateur in playoff

Dan Ott captures the Delaware State Amateur with a par on the second playoff hole.

MIDDLETOWN, DE (July 13) -- Dan Ott, Frog Hollow GC, won the Delaware State Amateur Championship after a two-hole playoff with the 2009 Champion, Greg Wolfe. Both players finished regulation at 1-under, 283 after 72 holes. After they both made par on the 1st playoff hole, Ott made par to Wolfe's bogey on the 2nd playoff hole to capture the championship. The competitors that shot 303 and lower are exempt from qualifying in the 2012 Amateur Championship, and the competitors who shot 296 or lower are exempt from qualifying for the 2012 Open Championship.
