PAWLEY'S ISLAND, S.C. (Mar. 12, 2012) -- Led by individual medalist Sean Dale, the North Florida golf team claimed another team title Monday after outlasting the 15-team field of the 2012 General Hackler Championship at the DeBordieu Club.
The Ospreys carded a final round 290 en route to finishing at 872 (+20), two shots ahead of runner-up East Carolina (874). The win was UNF's third of the 2011-12 season and first of the spring and also gave the squad top three showings in seven of eight tournaments this year.

He was the lone player in red numbers for the event and edged a trio of players in second by three strokes. Dale distanced himself from the field by playing the Par 5s in six-under-par over the 54 hole event.
There was a three-way tie for second at 217 between Ryan Eibner of East Carolina University (72-73-70,) Rhys Enoch of East Tennessee State (77-73-66) and Ben Kohles of Virginia (75-70-70.)
