Newcomb poised to defend Kentucky State Am. title

SIMPSONVILLE, Ky. (June 20, 2012) -- Patrick Newcomb, Benton, carded a second round 67 to post a two-day total of 135 and two stroke lead. Tyler McDaniel posted rounds of 69-68--137 and sits in second place. Taylor Riggs, LaGrange, and Tyler Mitchell both signed for 68-71--139 and are alone in third place. The final rounds get underway Thursday at the Cardinal Club in Simpsonville.
