New Mexico-West Texas Amateur: Saunders hangs on

LAS CRUCES, New Mexico (June 29, 2014) -- Sam Saunders fired a final-round 66 and won by four shots at the 201 New Mexico-West Texas Amateur at The Canyon Club at Four Hills. Saunders shot 64-74 over the first two days and kept pace with a surging Jere Pelletier, who shot a final-round 68, to hang on. Luke Condon carded rounds of 70-72-71 to finish alone in third place while Kenneth Fadke, Greg Condon and Devin Miertschin tied for third place.
