OMAHA, NE (June 17, 2006) -- Omaha attorney Patrick Duffy secured his first individual state championship Saturday defeating Fremont's John Sajevic 4 and 3 in the finals of the 2006 Nebraska Match Play Championship. Duffy capitalized in the morning 18-hole session claiming a 6 up advantage. Sajevic reduced the deficit to four holes twice in the afternoon but could never close the gap as Duffy claimed the title with par on the 33rd hole.
