Nebraska Amateur: Leistico leads entering final round

Tad Leistico of Omaha shot an even par 72 and now holds the lead entering the final round

OMAHA, Neb. -- While others were moving up and down around him, Tad Leistico of Omaha shot an even par 72 and now holds the lead entering the final round of the 103rd Nebraska Amateur. Following round two, the championship seemed to be turning into a two man race between last year's champion, Andy Sajevic of Fremont and 2002 champion, Ryan Nietfeldt of Omaha. Sajevic's 82 Wednesday leaves him 4 back of Leistico, Nietfeldt trails by two along with 1989 champion, John Sajevic of Fremont, Andy's father. John will be paired with Leistico in the final pairing beginning play at 10:52 a.m. Andy and Nietfeldt are in the second to last group.
