NCAA South Central Regional: Oklahoma State prevails

COLUMBIA, Mo. (May 17, 2014) -- When it was all said and done, the cream rose to the top at the NCAA Men's Golf South Central Regional. Jordan Niebrugge (65-73-68) and Talor Gooch (67-73-66) finished tied for second and Oklahoma State won the team title by five shots over Arkansas. The Cowboys also received a 68 from Ian Davis and a 70 from Wyndham Clark in Saturday's final round. The Razorbacks surged in Friday's second round but couldn't pull off the comeback despite spectacular finishes from Kolton Crawford (72-69-67), Sebastian Cappelen (73-67-69) and Nicolas Echavarria (73-67-69). Missouri, powered by individual medalist Emilio Cuartero (70-70-65) finished alone in third place.
