NCAA South Central Regional: Arkansas surges to co-lead

Arkansas shot a red-hot 270 team score on Friday to join Oklahoma State at the top of the leaderboard at the NCAA Men's Golf South Central Regional

COLUMBIA, Mo. (May 16, 2014) -- Arkansas shot a red-hot 270 team score on Friday to join Oklahoma State at the top of the leaderboard at the NCAA Men's Golf South Central Regional. The Razorbacks received 67s from Taylor Moore, Sebastian Cappelen and Nicolas Echavarria and surged all the way from fourth to first place. Arkansas also took a 69 from Kolton Krawford. Oklahoma State, which led on Thursday after Jordan Niebrugge's impressive 65, fell 15 shots off their torrid first-round pace. Wyndham Clark shot 70 to lead the Cowboys while Niebrugge and Talor Gooch shot 73. Behind the first-place effort from Hunter Kraus (68-69), Missouri is alone in third place. Ryan Zech (69-70) and Emilio Cuartero (70-70) also played well for the Tigers.
