NCAA East Regional: Georgia Tech rolling

Flashing their impressive depth, in Round 2, the Yellow Jackets received four scores in the 60s.

RALEIGH, N.C. (May 16, 2014) -- Georgia Tech remained in the lead after Round 2 of the NCAA Men's Golf East Regional at N.C. State's Lonnie Pool Golf Course. In Round 1, the Yellow Jackets were led by Richy Werenski. Flashing their impressive depth, in Round 2, they received four scores in the 60s. Ollie Schniederjans continued his stranglehold on the individual title with a second-straight 68 while Bo Andrews (68), Seth Reeves (69) and Anders Albertson (67) chipped in with fantastic efforts. Georgia Tech will enter the final round with a 16-shot lead over Washington. The Huskies were led by Jonathan Sanders in Round 2. After a first-round 68, Sanders shot 67 and is now tied for second place in the individual race. Trevor Simsby (68-69) continues hot play for Washington. Kentucky surged in the second round to take third place. The Wildcats have been led by the strenght of Stephen Powers' play. With rounds of 67-68, Powers sits tied for second in the individual race.
