HUNTINGDON VALLEY, Penn. (July 8, 2013) -- Nathan Smith, the four-time U.S. Mid-Amateur Champion and 2013 Walker Cup hopeful, shot rounds of 69-70--139 to go 1-under during stroke-play qualifying at the 10th annual R. Jay Sigel Amateur Match Play Championship. Smith was one shot better than Arnie Cutrell and will take the No. 1 seed when match play begins Tuesday.
