Joel Kribel tops Michael Nicoletti in playoff, Casey Boyns is low amateur

MONTEREY, Calif. (Oct. 29, 2007)-- Nationwide Tour golfer Joel Kribel beat Michael Nicoletti in the first hole of a sudden-death playoff to capture the Monterey Open title at Del Monte. Two-time tournament winner and newly-named NCGA Player of the Year Casey Boyns was the low amateur at 216, followed by Del Monte assistant Landon Jackson and Monterey City Champ Chris Marin.
