MANTECA, Calif. (July 8, 2012) -- After a hot weekend of temperatures in the mid-90's, Tom Phillips prevailed at the Manteca City Senior Championship.
After an opening round 74 on Saturday Phillips shared the lead with Tom Marks. Sunday's final round 75 was good enough for a two stroke margin of victory over a trio that finished at 151.
Robert DeMartino shot 78-73, Faustino Saldiver had a 81, 70 and Tom Marks added a 77 to his opening round 74. All three finished tied for second place in the championship flight.
