BIRMINGHAM, Alabama (July 6, 2013) -- Alex Mahlik (who plays for Central Alabama) posted his second straight round in the 60s at the 7005 yard Burningtree Country Club to take a 4 stroke lead into the final round in the Spirit of America Golf Classic.
Matt Gourgout, Jimmy Reist, and Jack Smith are at 139.
Mahlik finished tied for 7th in last year's Spirit.
