Magnolia Amateur: Southern Miss' Brady grabs lead

HATTIESBURG, Miss. (July 12, 2014) -- Kevin Brady of Southern Miss carded a second-round 64 and grabbed the lead entering Sunday's final round at the 2014 Magnolia Amateur at Hattiesburg Country Club. Brady shot 69 in Friday's opening round of play but leaped a group of players that shared the lead with 67s with his stellar round on Saturday. Will Thrash of Huntingdon College is at 6-under following rounds of 67-69. He's tied alongside Ben Snow (70-66). J.T. Taylor of Sam Houston State is at 5-under while Fernando Cruz Valle of Louisiana-Lafayette sits at 3-under to round of the top five.
