Albert Eckhardt struggled in the final round but managed to knock off Jack Anthony Hume in a playoff

LANCASHIRE, Scotland (May 5, 2013) -- Albert Eckhardt struggled in the final round but managed to knock off Jack Anthony Hume in a playoff to take the top spot in the Royal Lytham Trophy at Royal Lytham & St. Annes, the site of the 2012 Open Championship. Eckhardt shot a third-round 69 to get into contention but followed it up with a Sunday 73, which allowed Hume a chance to notch a tie at the end of 72 holes of regulation. Julien Marot of France was third, tied alongside Kristian Johannessen of Norway. Internationally ranked Nathan Kimsey finished tied for sixth.
