Tain Lee fired a 5-under 67 to take the early lead with Chris Williams, Beau Hossler in the hunt

SAMMAMISH, Wash. (July 4, 2012) -- Tain Lee held the early lead in the first round of the 2012 Sahalee Players Championship. Tain fired a five-under 67 in Round 1, besting a host of top-notch competitors. Defending champion Chris Williams was 4-under after Round 1 and well within contention. Just two shots back of Lee was Joseph Winslow and Dimitrios Papadatos, who both shot 3-under 69. Beau Hossler, who caught America's attention at the U.S. Open two weeks ago, was three shots behind Lee with a 2-under 70. Second-round play will be Thursday.
