With the win, Chugg earned exemptions into the 2018 U.S. Women's Open at Shoal Creek as well as the 2018 U.S. Women's Amateur.
Upon returning to her home state of Utah that evening, she got a surprise welcome at the airport, replete with "Chugg!" chants and signs.

Chugg is a former Weber State college golfer who now works for the Utah Golf Association. She is the 8th player from Utah to win a USGA championship.
