Jordan Spieth leads talented NCAA freshman class

Dallas native Jordan Spieth recently began his NCAA career and is perhaps the best talent of a terrific group of freshmen

Jordan Spieth didn't have much time to relax after the Walker Cup earlier this month. After all, he had to rush off to the University of Texas where he'll be a freshman on the Longhorns' golf team.

According to Golfweek, which featured the young golfer on the cover of its Sept. 9 issue, Spieth is just one of the many talented freshmen soon to take over NCAA golf.

The Dallas native recently began his college career, entering his freshman season with one of the most impressive pre-college resumes to date. He's the only player not named Tiger Woods to win more than one U.S. Junior Championship and has already played in two PGA Tour events.

Read more about Jordan Spieth and the impressive freshmen class bound to take over the collegiate golf game in the Sept. 9 issue of Golfweek.
