How's this for an acceptance rate: each of the top 45 eligible amateurs in the final 2022 world ranking said yes

Combine a world-class field with an iconic venue and it's no wonder why the Augusta National Women's Amateur has become one of the most coveted championships in all of amateur golf.

Invitations to compete in the 2023 Augusta National Women’s Amateur were sent in January and each of the top 45 eligible amateurs in the final World Amateur Golf Ranking of 2022 has accepted invitations, including the last two champions, Tsubasa Kajitani and Anna Davis, along with top-ranked amateur Rose Zhang.

The popularity of the event has led to expanded television coverage, as well. For the first time in the four-year history of the event, the first two rounds will be broadcast on Golf Channel from 1:30-3:30 p.m. ET while NBC will air the final round from 12-3 p.m. ET.

The Augusta National Women's Amateur gets underway on March 29 on the Island and Bluff nines at Champions Retreat Golf Club. After the entire field plays an official practice round at Augusta National on Friday, March 31, the much anticipated final round will take place at Augusta National on Saturday, April 1 featuring the competitors who made the cut.

The winner of the ANWA will earn exemptions into three majors: the Chevron Championship, U.S. Women’s Open and AIG Women’s Open.
