Higham and Baxter lead PNGA Amateur

WALLA WALLA, Wash. (July 10, 2012) -- Tanner Higham of Shelley, Idaho and Jonny Baxter of Pleasanton, Calif. share the lead after the first round of stroke play qualifying at the 111th Pacific Northwest Men's Amateur Championship at Wine Valley Golf Club in Walla Walla, Wash. Higham and Baxter each posted rounds of 5-under-par 67 on the challenging links-style layout, setting themselves up perfectly for a chance to earn qualifying spots into the match-play portion of the championship, which commences Wednesday morning.
