Hickman dominating at Eastern Amateur

PORTSMOUTH, Va. (July 12, 2014) -- Christopher Hickman shot a third-round 65 and extended his impressive lead to seven shots entering the final round of play at the 2014 Eastern Amateur. At Elizabeth Manor Golf & Country Club, Hickman opened up his nine shot lead with a fantastic 61-64-65 start to the 72-hole tournament. Hickman, who plays at East Tennessee State, is at 20-under throughout the first three rounds and holds that advantage over Riley Davenport of UNC Charlotte. Davenport has been stellar, too, carding rounds of 65-65-67. Christopher Crawford is nine back after rounds of 66-60-64 and is in a small group of players in contention entering Sunday's final round, considering the spectacular play of Hickman.
