Grant Forrest wins St. Mary's Invitational

SEASIDE, Calif. -- Former Scottish Amateur champion Grant Forrest fired a final round 3-under-par 69 to win the Saint Mary's Invitational in California.

Forrest, from Craigielaw, posted a score of 7- under for the 54-hole event, edging out two Cal Bears players – Michael Weaver and Brandon Hagy.

Forrest, a student at the University of San Diego, closed out the tournament with birdies on 17 (par-3, 225 yards) & 18 (par-5, 527 yards) to secure the win, while Weaver finished with back-to-back pars.
