Georgia Surges into lead at Cabo Intercollegiate

A scorching 16-under round for the Georgia Bulldogs gives them a nine-shot lead with one round to play in Cabo

SAN JOSE DEL CABO, Mexico -- After starting the day in 3rd place, the Georgia Bulldogs posted four rounds of 68 or better to vault into a commanding nine-shot lead at the Querencia Cabo Collegiate. Georgia was led by Sepp Straka who fired a 6-under 65 in the second round that included seven birdies, three of which came to open his round. Zach Healy added on a 67 while Lee McCoy and Grayson Sigg each fired a 68. First-round leader South Florida fired a 2-over 283 and sits in solo second place. The Bulls are led by Aksel Olsen who opened with rounds of 68 and 67 and shares the individual lead with Arkansas's Taylor Moore. Stanford's Maverick McNealy bounced back after a tough opening 75 with a 65 to put him in a tie for 12th.
