Pace Johnson shot a final-round 68 to come from behind and win at Riverside Golf Course

FRESNO, Calif. (May 26, 2013) -- Cal red shirt freshman Pace Johnson shot a final-round 68 to come from behind and win the 2013 Fresno City Championship at Riverside Golf Course. Johnson, who recently won the Alameda Commuters, shot the low round of the day and won by one shot over Jack Mulry, Rob Damschen and Jeff Hoffman. Second-round leader Brian Nova struggled with a closing 79 and finished tied for 13th. Brian Nova shot an opening-round 5-under 67 at Riverside Golf Course and held the early lead at the 2013 Fresno City Championship. Nova led Brian Nova by two shots after Round 1. Bryson Dechambeau was in at 2-under 70 along with Scott Hrdie and Sean Duckering. Three-time defending champion Danny Paniccia shot an opening-round 1-under 71 and hopes to make a run in Round 2.
