Cal defended their title in runaway fashion, shooting eight-under for 54 holes while second- place New Mexico finished 15 shots behind at seven-over.
In gusty conditions during the Monday's final round, where winds peaked above 20 miles per hour, the Golden Bears managed to still shoot under par on day three thanks to stellar play from Thai freshman KK Limbhasut and Scottish freshman Alexander Wilson.
Limbhasut led the Golden Bears with a fourth place finish, marching back from an opening- round 75 to shoot 67-71 in the final two rounds. Wilson also bounced back in the wind, shooting 69 on day three despite posting 74-75 the first two days.
