Final Round Underway at the Gopher Invitational

INDEPENDANCE, MN. (September 11th, 2016) -- The final round of the Gopher Invitational in underway at Windsong Farm Golf Club hosted by University of Minnesota. Oklahoma, led by junior Grant Hirschman, started the day tied for 2nd place with Arkansas, two strokes behind San Diego State. The defending champions have already erased the 2-shot margin through their opening six holes and are neck-and-neck with San Diego State in what looks to be a two-team race to the finish. San Diego State has been led by junior Blake Abercrombie who's postdd 1-under 141 thus far, tallying two eagles and six birdies so far.
