Ryan Evans shot a final-round 69 to claim the Berkshire Trophy in England.

BERKSHIRE, England (June 23, 2013) — Ryan Evans hoisted the Berkshire Trophy on Sunday in England. His final-round 69 captured the title by one stroke over Vaughan McCall, who also fired 69 on Sunday. Evans, who shot eight-under par for all 72 holes, was one of just seven other golfer to have 72-hole totals under par. The Berkshire Trophy is held annually in June and is an important 72-hole Tournament in the R&A Calendar for amateurs with a handicap of +1 or better. One only has to view the distinguished list of winners since the tournament's inception to recognize the importance of the event.
