Pairings and tee times for the first round of the
2012 Dixie Senior Amateur Championship have been
released.
Scheduled for Dec. 13-15, the Dixie Senior will open
up at Heron Bay Golf Club Thursday.

The Dixie Senior Amateur this year again boasts one
of the best senior fields in the nation. A number of
the country's top senior amateurs will take aim at
the crown in South Florida this week.
Defending champion Ron Carter will try for a second
straight title, teeing off alongside Bob Casamento
and Dick Pfiel at 8:24 a.m. Rick Woulfe, who has
seven Dixie titles, including a Men's Division victory
in 1992 which featured a match play win over Tiger
Woods, tees off at 8:51 a.m.
Brady Exber, Doug Hanzell and John Fritz make up
the power group heading out at 7:57 while
amateurgolf.com Player Staff Member Tony Caiazzo
hits the course at 7:39.
The Super Senior Division, made up of 19 players,
will follow the Seniors. Defending champion Pat
Vincelli is in the field, seeking his second straight
title. He'll play alongside 2010 champion Bill Dorece.
