Denlinger maintains lead at Monroe

Charleston Southern's David Denlinger leads by 3 after round two

PITTSFORD, N.Y. (June 14, 2012) -- After round two of the Monroe Invitational played at the Monroe Golf Club, David Denlinger of Charleston Southern University added a 1-over-par 71 to his opening round 64 and sits at 5-under-par 135. Denlinger is three strokes ahead of a foursome tied for second at 138; Thomas Pieters of the University of Illinois (71-67,) Anders Albertson of Georgia Tech University (73-65,) Bruce Woodhall of the University of Virginia (69, 69) and David Erdy of University of Indiana (69, 69.) Albertson has the low round of the day with a 65 just one off the pace set by Denlinger just a day ago. Play continues through the weekend for this championship that does not have a cut.
