Couldn’t get enough of college golf on TV last month? You’re in luck. Collegians return to the screen – albeit a live-streamed screen – this week for the 23rd annual Arnold Palmer Cup. GolfChannel.com will carry the coverage from Roland, Ark., from Friday through Sunday.
There often isn’t a lot of crossover between men’s and women’s college golf – especially among rival teams. You can thank the Palmer Cup, however, for what co-ed camaraderie there is. Last year, a women’s component was added to the annual three-day Ryder Cup-style event that features the world’s top collegians. This week, women will compete in the event on U.S. soil for the first time.
A team of 24 internationals and 24 Americans (each team consists of 12 men and 12 women) will complete at the Alotian Club, a former Western Amateur venue, June 7-9 for the annual matches. This is the first time the event has ever been broadcast on a live stream.

Live-streaming coverage on GolfChannel.com will include the opening and closing ceremonies, as well as profiles of the competitors in one of college golf’s most prestigious events. Whit Watson and Jane Crafter will be in the broadcast booth for live tournament coverage, and will be joined by Dave Marr III on the course Friday through Sunday.
