College golf is back with Haskins, Annika Award watch lists

Keep an eye on these 20 men and 20 women who have the inside track to winning the player-of-the-year award in college golf

After a busy summer amateur season, college golf is back, and to build anticipation for the season, the preseason watch lists for the Fred Haskins Award and the ANNIKA Award have been released.

The Haskins Award is presented to the most outstanding men's college golfer as voted on by players, coaches and media members. Past winners of the Haskins Award include Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson, and last year John Pak of Florida State earned the prestigious honor.


The 20 men on the Haskins Award preseason watch list are:

The ANNIKA Award is presented to the most outstanding men's college golfer as voted on by players, coaches and media members. Past winners include Leona Maguire and Maria Fassi who each won the award twice. Last year's winner was Rachel Heck of Stanford.
