Cincinnati's O'Kelley on top at Spirit of America

After 36 holes, Jared O'Kelley of the University of Cincinnati is on top at the 2014 Spirit of America Golf Classic.

DECATUR, Ala. (July 4, 2014) -- After 36 holes, Jared O'Kelley of the University of Cincinnati is on top at the 2014 Spirit of America Golf Classic. At Burningtree Country Club, O'Kelley shot a second straight 68 and sits at 6-under entering the third round of the 72-hole stroke-play event. Matt Gourgeot and John Michael O'Toole, also of Cincinnati, are tied for second place at 3-under. O'Toole matched O'Kelley with a 68 on Friday while Gourgeot carded a 69. Tied for fourth place are Forrest Gamble (University of Mississippi), defending champion Alex Mahlik and Will Sundvold (University of Missouri).
