ERBISOEUL-LEZ-MONS, Belgium (July 30, 2016) -- It took a playoff but in the end, Cedric Van Wassenhove was able to win the Belgium International Amateur at Royal Golf Club du Hainut. In the playoff the Belgium native was able to outlast fellow countryman Kristof Ulenaers, after both players finished 10-under. Van Wassenhove combined tallies of 73-68-67-70. His best round, the 5-under 67 in the third round included six birdies and one bogey. Ulenaers made a big move on Saturday with a final round 6-under 66. The charge came late as Ulenaers birdied six holes on the back nine to storm into the first place tie. On the day Ulenaers carded nine birdies and three bogeys.
