CLEVELAND, OH (June 27, 2017) - In wire-to-wire fashion the tandem of Scott Anderson and Andrew Montooth have claimed the 2017 Henry Picard Canterbury Cup hosted by Canterbury Golf Club.
The duo took the lead on day one with a 67 and held onto the lead with identical second and third 70's on Monday and Tuesday to finish with a 54-hole tally of 207.
Four-strokes behind in second place came Tony Hejna and Jamie Miller (70-71-70--211), Michael Affeldt and Chris Sekella (70-71-72--213) took third, in fourth place it was the team of Jeff Knox and Steve Paramore (70-72-75--217) while Michael McLoone and Scott Immekus (69-74-77--220) placed fifth.
SENIOR DIVISION
In the Senior Division things were a bit tighter with Mark Nickerson and John Spengler (68-71-70--209) emerging from a playoff victorious.
In the playoff Nickerson and Spengler defeated Ken Kinkopf and Vin Cahill (68-71-70--209).
Third place and three shots out of the playoff was Christopher Chee and Steve Humphrey (72-71-69--212), Ronnie Tumlin and Rob Hess (71-75-67--213) placed fourth and in fifth it was John Benson and Don Erickson (71-72-72--215).
