CLEVELAND, Ohio (Sept. 14, 2012) -- Curt Brown and Jay Fairfield have taken the lead at the 2012 Henry Picard Cup. Brown and Fairfield fired a second-round 69 and now lead by one shot over first-round leaders Daniel Young and Justin Lurie, who struggled with a second-round 75. Ken Lurie and Louis Rittberger are tied with the teams of Doug Hauenstein and Ken Kinkopf and Han Schlissberg and Scott Ross for third place. The Henry Picard – Canterbury Cup is a national level event that draws a field of accomplished amateur players from all over the country. This exclusive scratch tournament features 50 two-man teams in a better ball and aggregate score three-day competition and also offers a Seniors Division for those teams with both partners 50 years of age or over.
