Dominic Bozzelli fired a final-round 6-under 64 at Elizabeth Manor Golf & Country Club to claim a four-shot win

Dominic Bozzelli fired a final-round 6-under 64 at Elizabeth Manor Golf & Country Club to claim a four-shot win at the Eastern Amateur Championship. Bozzelli finished at 15-under 265 to top Wake Forest’s Evan Beck and Texas A&M’s Case Cochran (269). Cochran is the No. 22-ranked player in the Golfweek/Sagarin college rankings. Bozzelli and Beck entered the final round neck-and-neck, but Beck’s final round 68 only left him in Bozzelli’s wake. Bozzelli turned in four rounds of 68 or better at the Portsmouth, Va., tournament, shooting 66-68-67 in the first three rounds. Beck (68-67-66-68) was the only other player to shoot four sub-70 rounds. Aaron Stewart, a rising junior at SMU and son of former PGA Tour star Payne Stewart, finished T-16 at 7-over 277.
