COLUMBUS, Ga. (June 14, 2013) — On a day where a plethora of low numbers were posted at the Southeastern Amateur, second-round leader Jimmy Beck held with the pack, shooting 68 to hold a one-stroke advantage heading into Saturday's final round.
The Kennesaw State player has lead since day one when he fired 65 on Wednesday to take a three-shot opening-round lead.
Seth Reeves trails Beck by a shot after posting 66 on Friday.
Ross Thomson also shot 66 and finds himself in solo third place.
The Southeastern Amateur is an annual competition at the Donald Ross-designed Country Club of Columbus, a par-71, 6,398 track. The field consists of some of the best up-and-coming golfers on the college scene and many collegiate golfers from the southeastern U.S.
