Arizona Amateur: Howl lead after Round 1

MARANA, Ariz. (July 30, 2012) -- Camron Howl fired a 5-under 67 and takes the first-round lead at the 2012 Arizona Amateur Championship at The Gallery Golf Club. Howl's 67 leads Matt Record by one shot with four players coming in at 3-under 69. The 88th playing of the event continues Tuesday with a second-round of stroke play before the low 63 golfers --- in addition to defending champion Bowen Osborn --- head into the match play portion of the event.
