SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (Aug. 3, 2013) -- Seeded 57th in the 64-man match-play bracket at the 89th Arizona Amateur Championship, Christian Colegrove prevailed over No. 18 James Russo in Saturday's championship match at Pinnacle Peak Country Club.
Colegrove prevailed in 19 holes, Saturday, winning in the same fashion in the semifinals over Austin Quick.
To reach the semifials, Colegrove defeated medalist and top seed Bryan Hoops 2-and-1.
