amateurgolf.com Player Profile: Peter Dachisen

New Jersey native is an accomplished amateur and tournament director of the Florida State Golf Association

One of the things we pride ourselves on at amateurgolf.com is the number of "in-the-know" members of the golf community choose to become members of our site.

A prime example of this is Peter Dachisen, the Tournament Director of the Florida State Golf Association and a highly-regarded amateur golfer in the Sunshine State.

Dachisen, 37, has had particular success at the Gasparilla Invitational, which he won in 2002 and 2005 and was the runner-up in 2004. Dachisen also won a pair of Black Masque Four Ball events (2000, '03) and was the runner-up in the 2003 Florida State Mid-Amateur.

Born in New Jersey, Dachisen moved to Florida in 1995 to become a club pro at Hunters Green Country Club before becoming a reinstated amateur in 2002.
