POINT CLEAR, Ala. (June 7, 2014) -- Ryan Benton shot a third-round 66 and stormed into the lead at the 2014 Alabama State Amateur Championship at Lakewood Golf Club.
Benton followed rounds of 72-68-66 and sits at 10-under -- one shot ahead of Will Cannon, who shot 69 on Saturday.
It's primarily a two-man race heading into Sunday's final round.
Clint Provost is third but five shots behind the leading pace of Benton.
