Turner Clinches Victory at 60th Sacramento County Men's Amateur

Jackson Turner and Trenton Stuart both finished at 7 under par

The 60th Sacramento County Men's Amateur was held at Ancil Hoffman Golf Course in Carmichael, CA, on July 13-14, 2024. The 36-hole event saw 108 participants compete in favorable conditions, with cool mornings and July temperatures in the low 90s.

Jackson Turner and Trenton Stuart both finished at 7 under par, showcasing remarkable performances on Sunday, with Jackson shooting a 67 and Trenton a 66. In the playoff, Jackson delivered an impressive drive just short of the green, followed by a pitch and a successful 12-foot birdie putt. Trenton's long drive landed on the fringe, and his putt from there left him with a 9-foot attempt to tie, which he narrowly missed.

Jackson is set to start college at UCSB this fall.
