Coral Canyon Women’s Amateur: Ali Mulhall sets course record en route to the win

18-year-old Ali Mulhall, who has verbally committed to play golf at UNLV, shot 3-under 141 following her rounds of 74-67 to win the Coral Canyon Women’s Amateur title by a three-stroke margin over the field at Coral Canyon Golf Course in Washington, Ut.
Mulhall’s second round 5-under 67 set a new women’s competitive course record from the white tees at Coral Canyon.
Sunbin Seo, the defending champion from Utah and a sophomore at BYU, shot a total score of even-par to match Adeline Anderson to finish T2.
Mulhall entered the final round trailing Utah Tech senior Grace Williams by four strokes, who had opened her campaign with 2-under 70. She later added a 75 in her second round to finish tied for fourth at 1-over par. In 2023, Mulhall participated in 12 events and secured five victories. She also clinched the Augusta Drive, Chip, and Putt title in 2021, having been a finalist in 2020 and 2018.
In Flight Two, Montyne Anderson shot rounds of 84-78 to win by six shots at a total score of 18 over 162.
In Flight Three, Lisa Johnson emerged as the winner with a total score of 199.
