For the rest of April, online buys of Titleist, Vokey, Scotty, FJ, and KJUS come with a generous COVID-19 Response Fund donation
The golf industry has been deeply effected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Titleist's normal "three shift" ball plants are shuttered for the time being.
But that hasn't stopped Titleist's parent company Acushnet from making an aggressive commitment to helping first responders and those effected by the crisis with PPE donations, a variety of fundraising efforts, and a generous 15% donation of all online sales at their major brand's websites.
So why not treat yourself to some "must have" gear for spring and summer golf? We'll be back, and you're going to need Titleist balls, FootJoy shoes, gloves, and rain gear. And you might enjoy a new Scotty Cameron putter to make the at-home putting drills even more fun.
Whatever you choose, you'll be helping the organization Titleist partnered with on this program -- the Center for Disaster Philanthropy (CDP). The Washington, DC organization is the only full-time national resource "dedicated to helping donors maximize their impact by making more intentional disaster-related giving decisions." You can be sure that the money will be put to good use.
The CDP's COVID-19 Response Fund website states:
"The fund is focusing on support for nonprofit organizations working directly to respond to the pandemic among vulnerable populations in order to help build their capacity for response. These include social service organizations focused on supporting low-income households, small businesses, immigrant/New American populations, older adults, people with disabilities and other communities vulnerable to the physical health, mental health and economic impacts of the pandemic."
Often during disasters we want to help, but don't know the best place to donate. We're confident in Acushnet Brands' partnership decision with the CDP. So join us in taking the opportunity to purchase some of their amazing balls, clubs, apparel, and shoes so we can be ready to hit the course and make up for those lost rounds.
