CHARLESTON, S.C. (Oct. 10, 2012) -- Tim Teaster fired a final-round 72 to extend his lead and take home the title in the Senior Division of the 2012 Yeamans Hall Senior Invitational at the Yeamans Hall Club.
Teaster (70-73-72--215) shared the lead after a first-round 70 and was one shot ahead after the second round. His final-round 70 gave him an impressive four-shot victory.
Dennis Helms (74-78-67--219) surged into second place thanks to a final-round 67 --- the lowest round of the event.
John Baldwin (75-72-74--221) and John Ply (71-73-77--221) both tied for third place.
In the Super Senior Division, Frank Costanzo (75-71-71--217) closed with consecutive 71s to win by two shots over Don Wood (72-74-73--219). Bob Lowe (72-77-72--221) was third.
Claud Johnston (79-73-81--233) won by seven shots in the event's Grand Masters flight.
