Wickenden opens Tenn. Match Play with 66

Former Belmont University golfer Elliott Wickenden opens the Tennessee Match Play Championship with a 66 to lead by three.

BRENTWOOD, Tenn. (June 27, 2013) — First-round play at the Tennessee Match Play Championship was completed on Thursday with former Belmont University golfer Elliott Wickenden firing a 66 to take an early three-shot lead. Eighteen more holes will be played on Friday to crown a medalist and set the match play field. Brandon Rodgers and Scott Stevens each shot 69's to sit three strokes behind Wickenden in a tie for second place.
