Walnut Mustangs, Beth Lillie win CIF High School Girls State titles

In the team competition the Walnut Mustangs captured the title

RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CA (November 15, 2016) --Virginia commit Beth Lillie claimed the CIF High School Girls State Championship Individual title with a 70 at Red Hill Country Club. Lillie of Troy finished one-stroke in front of Briana Chacon (La Serna) and Crystal Wang (Diamond Bar). Chacon, who competed in the 2016 U.S. Women's Amateur and Wang both shot 71's. With a 73 Elizabeth Wang (San Marino) finished fourth while Lexi Perry (Oak Ridge) was fifth following a 74. Over the summer Elizabeth Wang played in her first LPGA event, the ShopRite Classic. In the team competition the Walnut Mustangs captured the title.
