So now as Illinois begins their preparation for the spring season here is a look back some of the moments from a second straight East Lake Cup title.

ATLANTA, GA (November 3, 2016) -- Over the course of
the last two days of the East Lake Cup hosted by East
Lake Golf Club the Illini of Illinois flexed their muscle
and showed why they are the top-ranked team in the
land. In the semifinals Illinois took care of Texas before
handling Oregon in the finals. For Illinois it was their
fourth win in five fall events and it likely secured a
spot atop the rankings heading into the spring.
