USC ahead at Pac-12 Championship after day one

36-holes were played at Palouse Ridge Golf Club in Pullman, Wash. and lead by six as the only team under par

PULLMAN, Wash. — Playing 36 holes on day one of the Pac-12 Championship, USC has jumped out to a six-shot lead over Arizona State, thanks mostly in part to a tournament-best six-under par 344 in Monday's afternoon round. Bobby Gojuangco and Sean Crocker are leading the Trojans at one-under and even-par, respectively, and are both inside of the top-10. Maverick McNealy of Stanford fired 65 and 68 to lead the individual race by a shot over Derek Bayley of tournament-host Washington State. This 72-hole tournament will conclude Wednesday, with 18 holes each day still remaining.
